I am using CATS 6 to translate DGN files to AutoCAD 2000. My problem seems to be that when the reference files are processed some will go fine (but are not attached as xrefs) and some files hang and then crash the translation resulting in incomplete translations. The files that hang the translation are master geometry files with opaque fills. In one case it even corrupted the software. My question is,1. Is this a fixable issue? 2. Can I map references by logical name AND level to a AutoCAD Layer (for bound references). 3. Is the first issue related to the software not unloading information out or RAM after each translation?
