In answer to your questions: 1)If you have files which hang and crash Cats, please email them to me. I need the main file and references, your control file, project file.

2)You can use reference logical and levels to map to AutoCAD layers. Use commands like this: If ReferenceLogical=BDR Level=2 Then Layer=BorderText Endif

3)Your first problem is likely a bug in Cats. I can fix it if you send me the files.
